Tips for starting a blog by means of SEO

Think before you start...

You're wise to check out the basics of blogging before you start your first post. Because, if you post on profit purpose, what sense would go through all that works if nobody out there read it? So i  "Blogging 101 " Tips should be done by determining the target market and how to build your blog posts around the exact keyword phrases that people are looking for. You don't need to know everything before you start blogging, but you should pay attention to three important tips for starting a blog...

Define your target market

What do I mean by the "target market "? I mean, you can't sell beef for vegetarians, no matter how beautiful A Grade is. Likewise, no matter how awesome you trust your product or service, you can't sell to everyone. As the saying goes, "You can't please all people all the time". Or better put into internet marketing terms,  "You can never please everyone all the time ".

So choose a target market with a "narrow niche", which means a small group selects the person you think might be like your product. For example, if you are selling an online marketing training blogging platform, you will think that everyone will want to learn how to earn money online. Right? Not so. Some people are not computer literate and do not have any ambition to start learning.

So, in this example, you might choose a target market from a group of people who want to learn how to make money from blogging. Now, imagine you're in a group of people, and try to imagine what you're going to get into the Google search engine to figure out how to get your final product. For example, you might think  "How do I make money with my blog " As your keyword phase to build your blog around.

Keyword Research

Now that you've determined your target market, you'll want to do a little keyword research to find out how many people are actually looking for a keyword phrase  "How do I make money with my blog ".

Type your keyword phrase and click Search. (The first time you do this, the system will prompt you to enter the "CAPTCHA " code to prove that you are actually a human being.) By the way,  "Longtail " keyword phrases (some words) are easier to rank in the search engines, and they are usually directed to a narrow niche, so it's a good start.

You'll notice that the keyword phrase we selected gets 1300 searches per month. Also, CPC (cost per click) is $2.55 which is a good thing.

The CPC column will show you what people are paying for that keyword phrase. The more people pay for phases, the more money you might get to earn; However, this also means it will be harder to rank your blog pages for phrases.

And, there's another problem here because, when you look at the competition, you'll see it has a "medium " competition. So why not search for other phrases with low competition which means the same thing?

Click the tab that says  "keyword ideas " To give you more ideas. In this scenario, I'll probably select the "best way to make money blog " That gets 720 searches, or  "How a blog makes money " that gets 1000 searches.

Make your title

Your headline should have a keyword phrase in it, preferably at the beginning. For example, see this article where I started  "Blogging 101 ". That's my primary keyword phrase. The second part of the title,  "Three critical Tips to start a blog " is for human attention.

So start with your keyword phrase, and end up with something that will attract attention, preferably phrases that promote curiosity. What phrases will make you click the link if you see it on Google?
