A blog has become a must for any internet marketer out there. If you run a blog to build your business and have a lead flow and cash, there is still a lot to learn... Many strategies need to be done consistently every day in order to have an effective blog with a good amount of traffic.

Blogging 101:7 Essential Tips to Have A Successful Blog

1. Be consistent in posting new content

When people say  "Content is king!  ", they're not kidding you. Why have a blog and not post any content? That's just crazy! Content is key to traffic, SEO, relationship-building, and a constant stream of visitors and readers. Without it, a blog is not even a blog. You should be able to consistently create new posts to entice your readers to come back for more. When someone likes your post or share it on social media, they mean it. They didn't like it to love it. So, keep it flowing. Our rule-of-thumb is that we post at least 3 times a week. That is our minimum. You can post more, but not too much. Once a day is perfect.

Doing this will build you the following readers. There are tons of info out there, so don't share all at one time. Give your readers the feeling that there's more to come and make them anticipate what's in store for them in the next post.

2. Be organized in your posts by using bullet points and numbered lists

A great tip for posting new content is to use bullet points and numbered lists... Exactly like what I did in this post. People seem to like reading a post that was done this way simply because they can scroll the content and see a brief overview of what the actual post is about. It's very simple to navigate and instead read a large amount of text, posts are broken down into sub-posts and people can scan through the list.

3. Become a Story Teller

Remember when we were in Grade 1 and our teacher and parents would read and tell us the story? Don't we love those moments? Well even if we're all grown up, we still love listening to stories. Stories attract people, especially in the business world. We always hear 23-year-old school, Mr. or MS. X, making it great in the world of online marketing. People are attracted to it. So put it to good use and start channeling your inner child and being creative on how you tell your own story. Make it unique and prominent. In short, the fact says, the store sells... And they sell very well! Why? Because people join people and your story is the beginning. Doing so will make visitors want to hear more from you. So be the best teller story you can!

4. Make sure your posts don't look scary

You're definitely wondering why I used the word  "Scary ". Well, I use it just because some people don't structure their blog posts well. For example: A post with 6 paragraphs and 500 words has no spacing and all so close together. Now, it's "Charlie Sheen " Scary! It's obviously not "Winning"! The first thing that your visitors will feel once they see this: overwhelmed!

Even without starting to read your posts, they will already feel tired and will lose interest. They will go straight. Structure your paragraphs well, make sure the image is not too close and clustered with each other, and press the "Enter " button (go to the next line or paragraph) when needed.

5. Go straight to the point!

Have you ever visited a page, for example, that has the title  "benefit from being healthy " And it takes the author about 300-500 words to actually explain and provide benefits? Start your post with at least 1-2 paragraphs. If not, your bounce rate will definitely be sky-rocket!

People visit your blog for solutions or help with their problems or situations. Give it to them as soon as possible. Otherwise, the worst will happen to you. What is it? Visitors will leave your page and may never return. Now we don't want that, are we?

Our goal is to keep our visitors on our site for as long as possible. That's why Mark Zuckerberg is richer than Sergey Brin and Larry Page (Google kids) Now (if you don't yet know)... And he was up to $17.5 billion faster than they did.

6. Develop social media presence

This step is very powerful once applied the right way. Share your content on social media sites. It is always important to develop a strong social media presence. Don't spam, though. People will hate you to do that!

7. Comments on other Blogs

This is a great way to create backlinks. Now, don't just give a single line of comments. Make comments that come from your heart. That way, people will have to click on your name, which will take them to your site, and see what you have in store for them. Be familiar to comment on at least 10 blogs every day. If you have more free time, why not make 20 blogs?
